We can’t help everyone,
but everyone can help someone.
Dr. Loretta Scott
According to the latest reports about 300 million (30 crore) people in India live below the poverty line. Sounds like any other data, isn’t it? Easy to say this, but try to imagine for a while what it means to be living below the poverty line, daily struggle to earn one loaf of bread, getting two times meal is like a party; living in filth, education counts in luxury, the basic necessities of life-like water and electricity are ones people pray to God for as they are not within the reach, darkness is all around; children doing labor, women getting exploited, in short, life is a nightmare in this part of the world. Nobody will ever dream of such a life but unfortunately many people have to live with this tag of “BPL” (Below Poverty Line) throughout their lives. They provide excellent statistical data for different type of researches and records. Movies & documentaries made on such themes get nominated for various awards! But everybody forgets that they too are human beings and have a right to live decently.
We, the fortunate ones, who are blessed with all the good things in life can lend a helping hand to such people and can bring a ray of hope in their lives by taking a small step. We at SETU- Society are committed towards the upliftment of the underprivileged and marginalized sections of the society. Come join us in our pious mission. Remember the last time you brought a smile on somebody’s face? It’s hard to contribute but not impossible!!!
Your thoughtful gesture can immensely help escalate our mission to reach out to the needy. By making a financial donation to SETU-Society, you are actually supporting the well-being of the underprivileged.
We humbly invite your support in the form of cash /cheque / draft/ bank transfer /online transfer of funds to meet these challenging social objectives. We honor your every noble gesture, be it small or big !
